My role is to help ensure the FMB is a source of knowledge, professional advice and support for its members by providing a range of modern and relevant business services designed to save members' time, money and give them a competitive edge. From November 2014 to Present (1 year 2 months) Membership Manager @ ESTA is the UK’s leading demand-side energy management trade association. I advised the leadership team on its approach to member recruitment & retention and communications. My role included devising and implementing a membership acquisition strategy and sales pipeline, promoting exhibitions and conferences. At the time of leaving ESTA I had recruited 32 of ESTA's 114 members - 28% of the total membership. From June 2012 to November 2014 (2 years 6 months) London, United KingdomManagement consultant @ Projects have included training and managing a team of 14 field workers for the National Census and working within the community to boost participation in the Census in the borough of Haringey. This including running community events and public speaking. Plus, providing market intelligence for Xerox and highlighting business opportunities for the marketing team. From October 2010 to May 2012 (1 year 8 months) Deputy Head of Marketing @ I was responsible for the strategic planning, direction and delivery of Home Office external communication campaigns. I also worked across Government to plan and deliver communications in partnership with, Cabinet Office, Ministry of Justice, the Department of Health, Police forces, local authorities and third sector organisations. I had lead responsibility for a number of campaigns designed to change behaviour including: Talk to Frank (drugs prevention) and Know your Limits (binge drinking). My role also involved building the capability of the Marketing Unit, improving business performance, providing advice to Ministers and responsibility for managing a £20m marketing budget. From September 2008 to October 2010 (2 years 2 months)
