After studying Industrial Management I started working as a management trainee for Burgers Ergon, a company specialized in installation technique for buildings. There I specialized in the field of maintenance management as well as sustainability. After two years I switched to the planning and control department to upgrade the company’s risk management. Meanwhile I managed the implementation of the maintenance contract of the first Dutch DBFMO contract at the Ministry of Finance. With a short interval at the quality department at Burgers Ergon, I started to work on the quality, safety and environment issues for Heijmans. Goal for this job is to acquire the ISO 9001, VCA** and ISO 14001 certifications. Since april 2013 this has been realized. Furthermore I am working on anchoring lean6sigma in the organization. I successfully followed an education for Black Belt and finished two projects, while ensuring education and startup of projects throughout the company. Furthermore problems are identified. The brewery had to work conforming the Coca-Cola Quality System, and the internship was meant to find the missing parts in the current quality system.
