I am keenly interested in the human side of computing. I studied User-Centered Design at the University of Washington. I focus on ensuring that technology is really meeting the needs people have and not just satisfying an abstract list of requirements.
I write code and build systems that not only solve the problem at hand, but that are also easy for other developers to understand, use, and extend.
Specialties: user-centered design, information visualization, human-computer interaction, user interfaces
Note: At this time, I am not interested in relocation unless the destination is on another continent. :)
