I am involved with several projects within a new program within the company. As such, I am responcable for everything from defining board-level requirements through testing and long-term support.
Before jumping headfirst into embedded systems, I had my first taste while working for the Mars Space Flight Facility at Arizona State University where I worked on several NASA-funded projects such as the Micro-LAB, the Mars Instrument Development Project (MIDP), and the OSIRIS-REx Thermal Emission Spectrometer (OTES).
During my undergraduate years, I started out as a Systems Administrator wherein I built and supported mission-critical computer systems in areas such as system security, database management, cluster computing, website development and system consolidation/virtualization. When the opportunity arises, I have further developed these skills by providing consultation services to local Phoenix businesses, such as Homesmart International and the Baker-Wee.
