Patent search – Preliminary patent searches were required in early conceptual development as well as later in pre-production. Searches mostly focused on broad conceptual searches to forward results to patent specialists.
Prototype construction/development – Responsibilities included plastic/metal-working as well as 3D Computer Aided Design to produce viable works-like/looks-like prototypes for clients using Pro-E Wildfire. From June 2004 to December 2006 (2 years 7 months) Video Synchronization Coordinator @ Video digitization and synchronization – Both manual and automatic video digitization and synchronization were required daily to produce trial quality products. This aspect of duties was the main focus of the position.
Hardware/Software troubleshooting – Hardware and software used in the office was primarily beta equipment. Troubleshooting skills were required as well as personal skills to communicate with third-party developers to assist in correction of issues. As a result, additional specification list creation was necessary in providing standards to management for disbursement through the rest of the company’s branches.
Employee training – The nature of the cutting-edge hardware and software required the development of training skills to instruct other company employees in various technologies from basic computer use to audio/digital editing. From June 2002 to December 2003 (1 year 7 months)
