Software Engineer @ Facebook I do full-stack application development and help the team run fluidly. The tech stack amazes me. The food there is legit, too. Greater Boston AreaSoftware Engineer @ Cimpress I work on the distributed uploads system Vistaprint.com and many of Cimpress' partners use. Web Developer @ Velir Studios I develop web applications using Sitecore and ASP.NET (including MVC sometimes!) From November 2010 to May 2014 (3 years 7 months) Graduate Student @ ASSISTments My job requires me to be a jack-of-all-trades. I spend most of my time designing and developing new features for our current system at assistments.org, and I participate in (near) daily meetings discussing aspects of the new version of the system we are developing, which will be a port from Ruby on Rails to GWT, which are two technologies I have become accustomed to as a result. As well, I performed database and systems tasks, such as migrating old data to meet new requirements, creating and populating new tables of interest, and managing our servers which includes bringing the system up in the chance it goes down. I collaborate with my advisor, Professor Neil T. Heffernan, and our lead developer David Magid on a daily basis to keep them in the loop as to how certain tasks are progressing. From June 2009 to August 2010 (1 year 3 months) Extern @ Sun Microsystems Developed an "out-of-the-box" experience for Project Darkstar, which is both a server and API for developing massively-multiplayer games. The project is headed by Sun Microsystem's Distinguished Engineer Jim Waldo. From August 2008 to October 2008 (3 months) Intern @ Sonus Networks Updated and maintained a flagship product and an experimental product, both of which incorporated several key parts – a graphical interface, a data collection and harvesting module, and a data parsing and analyzing module. From May 2008 to August 2008 (4 months) Contract Software Engineer @ Carat Fusion Part of a team of 3 that developed the framework and front-end interface for Reebok’s current website at http://www.reebok.com. From December 2007 to January 2008 (2 months) Intern @ Avidyne Developed automated testing software system in Python for company’s flagship product. From May 2007 to August 2007 (4 months)
