Jason Lebowitz is a pharmacist and senior sales consultant for BD, and is passionate about leveraging technology and data analytics to improve population health, medication stewardship and the delivery of healthcare. He currently supports a hosted software-as-a-service HIT solution that enables hospitals and IDNs to look at their data differently. Hospitals and IDNs utilize MedMined solutions to rework their clinical protocols and improve standards of care, linking clinical decision-making to quality, cost-effectiveness, and improved outcomes throughout the health care system. Prior to his current role, Jason worked at a management consulting firm specialized in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. He has consulted in the areas of managed care, commercial strategy and health outcomes research. While in the outcomes group, Jason's research on bariatric surgery, diabetes, and other metabolic disorders was published, the culmination of which provided him the opportunity to present his research at three international conferences. In addition to earning a PharmD from the University of Southern California, Jason received his bachelor's degree in pharmacology from the University of California at Santa Barbara with minors in both technology entrepreneurship and group fitness. Jason is excited to bring his passion for improving health outcomes and population health to the HIT industry.
