From March 1996 to March 1999 (3 years 1 month) Chief Human Resources Officer @ EyeCare Services Partners (ESP) Reporting directly to the CEO, and serving on the senior executive team, responsible for leading the human resources function for 100+ locations and 1,500+ employees. Dallas, TexasChief Human Resources Officer @ Solis Mammography As part of the Senior Leadership Team, reported directly to the CEO and was responsible for building an HR function to support a very fast growing company. Built an HR team, implemented new systems, helped Solis double in size and sell to a new private equity owner (Madison-Dearborn Partners) in September of 2018. Led worldwide staffing activity and supervised a team of 12 including HR managers, recruiters, and the HRIS function. Led the corporate office relocation from Ventura, CA to Dallas, TX with team completing 1,000 new corporate hires in less than 18-months. From August 2002 to May 2006 (3 years 10 months) Director, Field Human Resources @ The Michaels Companies, Inc. Michaels is a $4B arts & crafts retailer with 1,000+ Michaels and Aaron Brothers stores throughout the U.S. and Canada. As the Director of Field Human Resources I reported to the Chief Human Resources Officer (And directly to the CEO from June of 1999 to October of 2000).
