Director of Sales & Marketing, Team Lucas @ Team Lucas is an alliance between Lucas Oil and our marketing partners that enhances brand awareness, maximizes television coverage, and heightens the live event fan experience. Team Lucas activates with spectators and entertains television viewers through a number of exciting venues, including the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, Pro Pulling League, Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series, Lucas Oil Speedway, Modified Series, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Lucas Oil NHRA Drag Racing Series, Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championship, the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series, the Lucas Oil Stadium, the Lucas Oil Racing TV Network, & the MAVTV Network.
In 2015, Team Lucas put on 415 live events across the United States & Canada and created over 300 hours of original TV programming. The live events reached 1.1 million spectators and the traditional media, social media, and television coverage reached hundreds of millions of viewers.
I bring aboard new Team Lucas partners. I also help existing partners create marketing solutions that reach a very specific and targeted audience, which includes corporate buyers at automotive retailers, shop mechanics & crew chiefs, Do-It-Yourselfer's who wrench on their own vehicles and handymen who repair their own homes or businesses, and end consumers who are likely to pay a premium for high-quality functional products. Team Lucas allows brands to demonstrate their functionality to customers by showcasing products at live events and on television. Team Lucas engages customers while they are "in the moment" and having fun. We've learned that a person is more likely to listen to a brand message or learn about a new product when he is having fun.
Through our Team Lucas programs, we give our marketing partners the opportunity to reach their target demographic while their customers are receptive to learning. This creates memorable and enjoyable brand experiences, which in turn increases the likelihood of brand loyalty and return purchases.
