Product Manager @ Instagram Responsible for developing new camera effects and experiences. San Francisco Bay AreaProduct Manager @ Facebook Led a large team responsible for monetizing new surfaces across the Facebook app (e.g. Watch, Stories, Search, etc.). Leveraging my knowledge of and passion for Augmented Reality, I transitioned to the Monetization org, where I built a new team to develop new AR Advertising experiences on Facebook. [2016 - 2017] Moved back to California, where I helped build our Augmented Reality team. I grew and led a team to develop various AR technologies, including high-fidelity face tracking, person segmentation, hand tracking and body tracking. I managed all XFN processes required to ship these AR capabilities across the suite of Facebook Inc apps. Moved to London to lead the local ads measurement team in developing new and innovative solutions that enabled brick & mortar stores to measure the effectiveness of their ads. Shipped Local Insights, a product that helps businesses understand more about the people nearby and how to reach them most effectively on Facebook. Coordinated multiple cultural efforts, such as Hackathons, to help further the growth and success of the London office. [2013-2014] Led a team to develop and ship Audience Insights, a new tool for advertisers to learn more about people on Facebook to optimize their targeting and ad creative (patent pending). Transitioned to focus on core ad insights and reporting infrastructure. Focused the team on quality and stability to ultimately ship a more scalable platform that enabled other teams to ship new metrics quickly, with low effort.[2012-2013] Managed a variety of products during the Rotational Product Management program, including site integrity (spam and fake account prevention), advertising in emerging markets and privacy. From August 2012 to July 2019 (7 years) Menlo ParkSummer Intern, Electronic Materials and Devices Lab Group @ Xerox PARC Conducted measurements on a variety of organic photovoltaics. Annealed organic solar cells to a range of temperatures and analyzed the resulting effect on the photocurrent, spectral response and density of states Co-Authored an abstract summarizing the effects of trapping states on photocurrent in these devices. From June 2011 to August 2011 (3 months) Summer Intern, Flexible Displays Lab Group @ Hewlett-Packard Built flexible display prototypes using organic LEDs and used photolithography to process backplanes before integrating them with the OLEDs. Experimented with various processes, epoxies and conducting adhesives to achieve a maximum OLED yield. Fabricated a successful demo by the end of the summer From June 2010 to August 2010 (3 months)
