I’m a web developer & designer, I work predominately with Ruby, and its associated frameworks. Rails, Sinatra & Radiant, to name a few. I fell in love with Ruby in my last job, I love the syntax, the true object oriented nature of the language, and it’s metaprogramming traits. I use Rails on a day to day basis and throughly enjoy working with it. I am also very proficient with HTML, CSS (I prefer to use SASS with my Rails projects), and Javascript (jQuery). I have worked on numerous large sites as a sole developer, as well as in a small team. I’m also a skilled unix administrator, I have set up several servers that run Rails sites, along with several servers managed with Chef on Amazon S3 But it’s not all work, even though work is also my hobby. I am also a keen snowboarder, I also love to meet new people and experience new challenges, at university I was on the committee for the Snowsports team for three years. Allowing me to meet new people and snowboard!
