I'm Zaw Htet. I'm currently a junior at Whittier College with Physic major and Computer Science minor. I will graduate in 2014 May. I have done a little bit of computer programming in high school but it was in my Sophomore year at College when I really got into coding. I have written small game programs such as maze creator, boggle board game, scribble and other fun applications like Morse code, Steganography, random writer (Markov model). The project that get me into web development is when I started tinkering with Google Map API using python wxwidget as GUI. During that project, I got better at reading documentation and picked up wxwidget quickly. Last summer 2012, before Fall semester began, I wanted to do something cool with the little knowledge that I had. Then I came up with an idea of a website where students in Whittier College can buy/sell/trade their textbooks with each other, after getting sick and tired of college bookstore ripping us off. I have further features to add later onto the website but that was the initial goal. I had never done web development before, so I tried django for backend web framework as it is written in Python which I was already familiar with. While working on the poetexchange website, I created small sample websites to get familiar working with web server and database. The poetexchange website is still under development but it's almost done. Recently, I started working on Android apps. My next project is to create Steganography app for Android.

From September 2012 to September 2013 (1 year 1 month) Programmer @ Operated and maintained multiple websites deployed with Wordpress. Ensured that the server could handle high traffic. Developed a plugin from scratch, written in javascript and php, where authors could easily search for the service they're looking for. From June 2013 to August 2013 (3 months)
