"I never meant to write a word, a fragment, phrase, song, script, or stanza. I ponder. With pen in hand my scribbles lifted themselves from somewhere in my mind. Language is a difficult thing; I only know the one my country taught me. Wish they showed me a little more. There aren’t always the proper words to express accurately the complexity of thought. But, who wants to delve into that nonsense anyhow?
I create work that represents actual reality. Humans are all unique yet all the same; everyone of us with dark secrets. The work that I have produced confronts what people don't speak about, the things we all know are true and often are manifestations of our truest selves. Often the work I make is considered obscure, sometimes surreal; I show my reality. We all fight endlessly to reroute our understanding to a common collective understanding, a "universal truth." Thing is, your truth ain't my truth, and my truth makes no sense at all."
