We are transforming the mobile landscape with; intelligent marketing/ media solutions powered by first party data, the first mainstream mobile loyalty platform in market and recently we took our first steps in the mobile payment space by announcing a significant partnership with Mastercard.
I joined Weve to build and run the client business, partnering with the top UK brands across media, loyalty and payments. My team are responsible for delivering long term multi £m media partnerships, integrating brands into our loyalty proposition ‘Pouch’ and working with the banks and cards in the mobile payment space.
From September 2014 I also ran the agency sales team as well as the client business team. From December 2012 to December 2014 (2 years 1 month) Head of Client Sales, Microsoft Advertising @ I ran the Client Sales Team at Microsoft Advertising. This team of nine senior execs was responsible for building and developing relationships with CMOs, Marketing Directors and Head of Digital Marketing at the top 50 UK brands. This vertically aligned sales team was responsible for driving revenue across all Microsoft Advertising products including MSN, Xbox, Mobile, Tablet and AdExchange as well as developing deep Integrated Creative Partnerships. My team also ran the Commercial Partnerships on MSN and delivered a number of high profile Business Development Deals (including Ad Syndication, Internet Explorer 9 Partnerships and Windows Phone 7 App Partners). My contacts include many senior marketers across the UK Top 50 Brands including businesses like P&G, Unilever, O2, Orange, Sky, HP, Capital One and More Than. From July 2011 to August 2012 (1 year 2 months) London, United KingdomHead of Commercial Partnerships, Microsoft Advertising @ I set up and ran the Commercial Partnership Team, bringing together eight senior execs in the Microsoft Advertising Business. This Business Development Team was responsible for the £m Integrated Partnership Deals with MSN, £m Ad Syndication Deals as well as a number of non-revenue focused deals (including Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Phone partnerships with top publishers). The team ran these deal from start to finish including building the strategy, sourcing the partners, closing the deals, signing contracts and managing through to launch. In July 11, I merged this team into the Client Sales Team. From July 2010 to July 2011 (1 year 1 month) Category Development Manager, Microsoft Advertising @ I was the Client Sales Manager for the Finance Vertical, responsible for driving advertising revenue into Microsoft Advertising. I was focused on CMO/ Marketing Director relationships from the top 100 finance brands, conference speaking and driving partnerships through my sector. From July 2008 to August 2010 (2 years 2 months) London Sales Director @ I ran the client sales team as well taking responsibility for the monetisation of features and supplements within the newspaper From July 2007 to June 2008 (1 year) Head of Titan Plus @ I ran a team of 20 sales and operations executives, focused on Digital Outdoor, Premium Outdoor Formats and Experiential. We launched the first Digital Outdoor Screen in the UK. Titan bought Maiden Outdoor in 2006. From 2006 to 2007 (1 year) Head of PromoRail @ I set up and ran the Experiential Division of Maiden Outdoor. This team of eight sales and operations executives were responsible for £3m annual sales, delivery, marketing and commercial contracts.
