Suzanne founded her first business, VAWork, in 2002. From a lone proprietor, her business grew to an eight team powerhouse; each member specializes in specific online marketing needs, including wordpress site development, online marketing, custom content creation, social media campaigns and search engine optimization.
For two years, Suzanne was one of the three original members of the TechSavvyAgent phenomenon - a 2010 Inman award winning blogsite that provided real estate agents with tools and techniques were immediately actionable and profitable for Real Estate Agents across the country and world.
In June 2011, Suzanne accepted the role as one of 12 hand-picked Featured Contributors for Inman's newest venture, Inman Next, where she provided weekly content on tech savvy how-to's and product reviews.
Suzanne currently works for Move, Inc., as the Director of Social Media Marketing overseeing a team of social professionals in building brand awareness, growing and gaining new long-term relationships, and having tons of fun in between!

Director of Social Media & Industry Outreach @ • Create and oversee the social media strategy, partnering with stakeholders across the Company to gain buy-in and ensure its adoption into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services
• Develop and implement the roadmap for social media tools, ensuring that our ROI covers marketing, product, support and industry relations. Source and manage relationships with other social monitoring and listening platform partners to support and develop commercial opportunities and gain word of mouth. Oversee social media tool integration and training of the handful of folks who will directly access the tools.
• Recruit and oversee the Social Marketing Team, ensuring a superior quality of communication and engagement. Establish excellence in the industry, speaking at key conferences and providing interviews with top tier publications.
• Responsible for planning social marketing campaigns for both B2C and B2B and Brand, raising consumer and customer awareness across the company’s portfolio.
• Increase positive sentiment for the company and its key products dramatically and track on a monthly basis to share with executive staff.
• Establish company guidelines for social media, and publish them to ensure all follow best practices. Focus on training the executive staff on Twitter and develop a Twitter strategy for key executives, including the CEO, Chief Revenue Officer and others.
• Act as the advocate of social media integration within and outside of the Company, influencing overall site and business strategies and acting as the company spokesperson within the Social Media industry.
• Provide benchmarks and analyze data provided by the Social Marketing Team, to inform company-wide decision-making and campaign targets are met. From May 2014 to Present (1 year 8 months) Social Media & Industry Outreach Manager @ • Represent realtor.com and Top Producer, TechSavvyAgent, FiveStreet, Doorsteps, TigerLead in online/offline communities, act as liaison between the community and the business, relaying feedback to product, marketing, industry relations, communications, customer support and executives.
• Develop and execute online educational programs to grow brand awareness and generate positive association and response to our products and services, as well as build loyalty through continued engagement (chats, hangouts and webinars, etc.,)
• Research and report community engagement, hot topics, industry conversation and trends. Record daily SOV on FB Groups (which are not accessible via Sysomos) of our voice versus our competitors (2 hours/day)
• Pull reports for execs. for SOV, SOM, reach, likes and RTs.
• Identify influencers within communities and collaborate with them on a regular basis
• Grow community engagement to educate and support customers and prospects
• Manage community feedback, working with internal departments to resolve issues quickly, ensure required resolutions are completed and relayed to individuals in a timely manner
• Manage complaints and issues brought up on social channels (Facebook Groups, Facebook Private Messages and Twitter channels) and escalate or address as needed in a timely manner.
• Attend and speak at multiple industry events throughout the year in addition to webinars and interviews with industry publications. Create slides, prepare for speaking. Develop in-person relationships with key influencers and new potential clients at each event. Follow up and maintain relationships via FB and email (BombBomb) after events and moving forward.
• Works closely with Comms department on timely initiatives/stories and relays messaging via social channels.
• Works cross-functionally with executives, marketing, product, communications, customer care and industry relations.
• Acts as the company spokesperson within the social media industry. From October 2013 to May 2014 (8 months) National Speaker & Founder @ Real. Social. Results. From January 2001 to October 2013 (12 years 10 months) Marketing Director @ Completed a strategic plan for the marketing department and put it into effect. Created brand new website using Wordpress and complete customization of a theme, integration of both IDX system and CRM. Removed unnecessary and unproductive marketing strategies and replaced with those with a proven ROI; set up both online and offline advertising campaigns along with several email campaigns. Introduced several new strategies including paperless listing presentations and virtual staging techniques for vacant properties.
