•Security services include Identity/Access Provisioning, Identity Federation, Single Sign-on, Role Management, Identity GRC, Access Mgmt and Web Services Security.
•Services span both workforce/enterprise and customer/e-Business environments.
•Developed Kaiser’s single sign-on strategy and roadmap and communicated to business customers. From June 2004 to May 2009 (5 years) Sr. Data Security Architect @ Developed strategy, technical direction and proof of concept for the company’s new storage resource management (SRM) data protection and recovery product line for business continuity. Used SAN and NAS volume based replication technologies to supplant tape-based off-line backup products with disk based online replications as the primary data protection tool.

Responsibilities included the design and implementation of a unified software strategy for the company, as well as managing the software organization to execute the strategy.
•Expanded the software engineering organization from 4 to 50 engineers as Vixel transitioned from a startup company, through a successful IPO, and into a publicly traded company. Development teams were located at engineering sites in California and Washington.
•Developed software architecture and technical roadmap for the Hub, Switch, and Host Management software development teams and managed communication of roadmaps and strategy externally to customers to validate the strategy. From May 1998 to November 2000 (2 years 7 months) Technical Director @ Defined and executed the long-term technical strategy for the OpenVMS Operating System development group: Digital’s largest operating system, revenues exceeding $500M million a year with a customer base of 10M million users.
•System Architect of software architecture and computing model (Adaptive Partitioned Multi-processing) for large scale multiprocessor computing systems.
•Led 10 member technical staff to define architecture. Implementation accomplished in 18 months.
•Awarded Giga Information Groups 1998 Award for Most Innovative Server Technology.
•Granted 3 U.S. patents in the area of software controlled adaptive partitioned multi-processing. From June 1981 to May 1998 (17 years)
