Hired and built a team to rapidly prototype, develop, and release products; build-out the West Coast hardware lab; work with suppliers and manufacturers; and perform user facing studies, validation, and pilots. From 1999 to 2001 (2 years) Co-Founder @ Market making technologies for niche and collector spaces. Launched music and book verticals with catalogs of over 12 million items in auction, set-sale and want-ad form with a long-term strategy to launch stamps, coins, comics, etc. Built and managed product development and engineering teams. Negotiated vendor contracts and 3rd party service agreements, and due diligence on acquisition of bilbiofind.com. Acquired by Amazon.com providing the platform for the launch of Marketplace adding over $4 billion to the company's market cap. From 1998 to 1999 (1 year) Sr. Developer @ Developed social, messaging and ad-based technologies for the company's music and movie recommendation sites. Also worked on early browser integrated profile-management and aggregation technology in collaboration with Netscape.
