http://www.apple.com/macbook-pro/ From July 2011 to 2013 (2 years) CupertinoHardware Co-op @ Hardware engineering co-op in the portable group (MacBooks, Pro's and Air's). From May 2010 to December 2010 (8 months) President, cmuTV @ I was the President of Carnegie Mellon's campus TV station.
- Produced live events like concerts, fashion shows, races with top of the line video and audio equipment.
- Managed over $100K in finances for the organization.
- Filmed, edited and produced videos.
- I am very passionate about video and loved every minute of working with cmuTV. From August 2009 to May 2010 (10 months) Founder and Head Researcher @ Conceptualized and started a project to develop wirelessly enabled sockets, that can track power usage on a per device basis and report back to the user. From August 2009 to May 2010 (10 months) Lead Electrical Engineer, Team Coordinator @ I am the team coordinator and lead electrical engineer, in-charge of designing a trip-stop emergency braking system for automated trains maintained by Bombardier. From August 2009 to December 2009 (5 months) Research Assistant @ I work on the modular snake robots project and my job is to design new electronics for snake robots From November 2007 to May 2009 (1 year 7 months) PR Manager @ Incharge of cmuTV's public image and creating posters, banners, logo's and other promo material to spread the word about cmuTV. From September 2007 to May 2009 (1 year 9 months) Team Representation @ The CMU XPrize project led by Red Whittaker plans to send a robot to the moon.
My primary goal was to further the exposure of the CMU XPrize team online and in main stream media.
I used my skills in video
production and web design to create an experience for the viewer, so that they can understand what is the goal of the CMU XPrize team.
The work I did helped the team achieve more public awareness and recognition on the internet. From August 2008 to December 2008 (5 months) Co-Founder, Lead Designer @ Started a web, print and video design company with a group of colleagues.
I was the Founder and Lead
Designer for the company. We worked on multiple projects over the summer of 2007 using HTML, CSS and PHP. Starting a company helped me understand ground realities of how people and money need to be managed. From June 2007 to September 2007 (4 months) President @ I was the Founder-President of the Robotics Club in my high school.
As President in my senior year, the club conducted the first ever school level robotics competition- RoboKnights - in the country. I also gave a keynote presentation on how to further Robotics in high school. Last winter I revisited my high school to give another keynote presentation on how robotics can be pursued in college. From August 2006 to June 2007 (11 months)
