Robert has his specialized training in sexuality and psychodynamic family of origin issues. Robert has served in various capacities within the chemical dependency field beginning with his work at Behavioral Health of Baton Rouge working with adolescents and their families. Robert's position as a primary psychotherapist for the well-known Sierra Tucson's Sexual Recovery Program allowed him to develop and refine his skills in this critical area of treatment. He specializes in facilitating groups for sexual compulsivity and childhood traumas, as well as presenting lectures on relevant topics. Never to shy away from challenges, Robert also worked with juvenile sex offenders as the program’s clinical director when he lived in the state of Washington. Robert has been with Caron Renaissance since 1994 and has served as a Primary Therapist and as Director of Family and Specialty Services during his tenure. Robert is also a Certified Trauma Therapist (C.T.T.) through the Post Traumatic Stress Institute in Houston, TX, and a Board Certified Sex Therapist (CST) in the state of Florida.
