Successfully tendered and won two MOD Prime Contracts combined value c £1500m.
Regional Prime Contract Central (RPC) maintenance of 7000 buildings and grounds on 85 MoD establishments, 7-10 year term. JV 50/50 split between Carillion & Enterprise.
Housing Prime Contract (HPC), second MOD contract covering the maintenance and improvement of 43,000 properties in England and Wales. Bid as a three way joint venture by Carillion (50%), Atkins (25%), and Enterprise (25%).
Commercial Lead on RPC Central for joint venture during commercial close. Contract negotiations including production and agreement of numerous contract schedules. Contract close process undertaken in six month PB period which included initial mobilisation activities and support to Defence Estates for the MoD sign-off process From 2004 to 2007 (3 years) Commercial Manager - Bailey Maintenance @ Commercial Manager based at the Leeds Head Office, responsible for the National Commercial function. During this period turnover grew from £12 to £35m and the business was transformed to become both profitable and sustainable.
The commercial function was carried out against a broad range of contracts, PFI, client direct, and via main contractors / facility managers. Business sectors including telecommunications, government agencies including MOD, financial institutions and retail.
