From March 1983 to Present (32 years 10 months) Project Controls Manager - CVPUE @ Project Controls Manager for a 4.8 billion USD mining E.P.C./Cm project located south of Arequipa Peru. The Project Controls Team of 70 personnel was dispersed over 5 major areas, plus three townships, and a waste water treatment facility. From January 2014 to August 2014 (8 months) Controls Manager - Pascua Lama @ Original assignment was Planning Manager for Pascua Lama in both countries. The project had a projected ITB exceeding 8 billion USD. The objectives were to establish reliable schedule and progress measurement including communications between the client, engineering, and all contractors at the sites. This evolved to include all change management. I spent most of my tenure at the Lama site due to it's condition. I assumed the Project Controls Managers role prior to suspension of the project.. From January 2013 to December 2013 (1 year) Planning & Progress Manager @ This role included coordination of the Vancouver Engineering Center for engineering, procurement, and contracts. This international mining project with TIC over 3.4 billion USD. Manager for strategic planning of 3 construction areas spanning 27 km2, coordinating over 90 subcontractors, that provided over 6000 construction personnel and indirects.
