An entrepreneur at heart, I lead engineering teams that deliver market leading customer-centric products .
My track record is rooted in my passion and skills to unearth and translate unmet customer needs into practical, exciting product roadmaps, in hiring and grooming engineering talent, and in organizing disciplined, collaborative Agile execution to deliver exceptional results. I have done this repeatedly in both start-ups and large enterprises (HP, Yahoo!, Sun) without stifling creativity or losing customer focus.
I have worked across multiple domains (rich media, telephony, enterprise SW, education, design automation) through understanding of core, technology-transparent application patterns. A quick study, I keep up with emerging technology trends with an eye on practical application of trending technologies. I have led engineering of highly scalable, multi tenant SaaS platforms (e.g.: Video at Yahoo!, Twilio telephony), as well as of compelling user-facing Web applications (e.g.: Yahoo!, ON24).
As a global citizen, fascinated by diverse cultures, I have learned how to work with varied cultures and bring out the best in teams to deliver the exceptional. I’m skilled at collaborating effectively cross functionally across multiple geographies to build strong value-chain partnerships, as well as high- performance teams globally. I have built teams at over 10 locations in 6 countries.
I learned that disciplined, yet lightweight Agile processes help teams innovate without killing the innovation spark. I have implemented tailored development processes based on Agile methodology principles in multiple organizations and transformed development teams into highly productive powerhouses.
