Worked on the Microsoft VC++ platform. Also was involved in business development for the company. Initiated the first on-campus recruitment drive for the company. Search within the enterprise is a tough problem and so I worked to constantly prototype new ways to improve relevancy and the search UX. Egs, tagging for improving search relevancy, prototyped various tagging UX, browser add-ons to improve data gathering and UX, suggested content providers, etc From May 2008 to April 2010 (2 years) Research Assistant @ Butte Lab Stanford University Worked at Stanford Biomedical Informatics & published in BMC Bioinformatics - "Content-based microarray search using differential expression profiles" with Prof. Atul Butte & Prof. Russ Altman From 2006 to 2007 (1 year) CTO @ MyTime Built product development organization from ground up establishing 4 key teams (mobile and full stack web) across 4 locations. Built a suite of SaaS products for small & medium business owners to allow them to take control of their business, including:* Scheduling* CRM* Client Communication* Automated MarketingHelping build and iterate on a 'marketplace for appointments'. Designed and implemented a consumer facing marketplace for appointments for anything from haircuts to dog grooming to yoga, scaled it from 0 to 750K users per month, and thousands of dollars per day in revenue.Leading a team of iOS & Android developers working on our consumer facing app as well as merchant facing app. Our app won Top Mobile app at the Launch Mobile & Wearables Conference and was featured by Apple as "Best New App." TechCrunch calls MyTime, "a rare breed of app like Uber, Pocket, and Venmo that makes life so much easier, it's hard to remember how things worked before."Helping streamline internal sales and customer support processes.
