CDRILS is targeted for implementation on the International Space Station where it is expected to reduce CO2 concentration on the space station by 50%, alleviating health and performance issues currently experienced by astronauts due to high levels of CO2.Led the proposal effort that resulted in a multimillion dollar partnership with NASA to fund the research and development of this technology. Led the proposal effort to the ISS National Laboratory, resulting in a multimillion dollar award in cost avoidance.Inventor of 9 provisional patents on life support system processes. Advanced CDRILS from TRL1 to TRL5 within 5 years. Performed trade and system sizing studies.
