I've been recruiting since 2000 in both in corporate and agency environments. I'm passionate about what I do. I love the thrill of the chase, and connecting great people to great companies. That's what makes it worthwhile.
Process is a good thing, and a smart process is even better. I'm particularly driven by assessing recruiting operations and processes and devising ways to make them smoother, faster, and smarter. I've also built recruiting operations from the ground up.
I'm a big supporter of using technology and social media to enhance the candidate experience and to promote an employee brand that builds community, engagement and loyalty. My ultimate goal is making the recruiting and hiring process as straightforward as possible by being open and transparent.
I'm also a member of the Board of Directors with recruitDC (www.recruitdc.org), a local DC organization with a mission of sharing knowledge and furthering the development of recruiters in our area.
