I currently serve as the Community Experience Program Manager at the University of Oklahoma in Information Technology. In this role I provide strategic leadership in the area of technology by coordinating team resources for efficiency, growing and mentoring personnel, and facilitating service delivery. I have more than 10 years of experience in technology leadership in the public sector, with a specific emphasis in higher education.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, graduating summa cum laude. I received a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2011 and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Higher Education Administration. In addition to my education I have achieved A+ and Network+ certification, industry standards for technology support. I have also been granted a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt, a certification focused on process improvement and improved ROI.
This experience and education, combined with my leadership and management skills and a deep understanding of the nature of public administration, have equipped me well for leadership in higher education, both in the areas of technology and finance.

IT Director @ As IT Director I oversee the technology related operational responsibilities and strategic initiatives for the agency. I serve on the agency's leadership board and provide direction to the technology staff. OPERS pays out more than $500,000 annually in benefits to its more than 30,000 retirees, while also serving approximately 50,000 active employees. From October 2015 to Present (3 months) Oklahoma City, Oklahoma AreaCommunity Experience Program Manager @ The Community Experience Program Manager fills a critical role within this customer centric team by enabling the Community Experience Strategy teams to deliver a unified technology experience, craft technology strategies, and actively partner with students, faculty, staff and departments. This individual will focus on collaborating and coordinating for efficiency, managing resources, growing and mentoring personnel, and facilitating service delivery in concert with the Business Office. From January 2013 to October 2015 (2 years 10 months) IT Representative for the College of Engineering @ I served in a senior level position within the College of Engineering coordinating all technology efforts in achievement of the vision and goals of the College. I provided strategic leadership for the College, coordinated technology projects and initiatives for the College, eight academic departments, and associated research centers, and advised College deans, directors, and program sponsors on technology-related issues. Additionally, I managed a Service Level Agreement with Information Technology to provide service and support for desktops, peripherals, servers, voice and data communications, and instructional technology and oversaw a total technology budget of $1 million. From July 2009 to January 2013 (3 years 7 months) Adjunct Instructor @ Adjunct Instructor for the Regional and City Planning Division of the College of Architecture teaching RCPL 5353 - State and Local Budgeting and Finance, a required course for all RCPL graduate students.
