Brazil From March 2015 to Present (10 months) Oil and Gas - Global Business Manager @ I was brought in to help the company grow the small company of 11 and expand into unknown territory. The company only focused on providing permanent personnel into Norway and my job was to establish relationships with Service companies and EPC's globally. I helped the company attract Oil and Gas recruiters and left when they peaked at 18 to follow my dream of building my own enterprise. From March 2014 to December 2014 (10 months) Director of Sales @ I was internally promoted to take on the role of Director of Sales which increased my remit to overseeing both the OIL and GAS and IT recruitment teams. My job was to change the culture in the office and help rebuild the IT contracts team and continue to build the new O&G team.
I was responsible for both P&L's and helped the company grow from 15 to around 40 personnel. When I joined the company, the turnover was around £8 million and this was up to around £16 when I left. A pretty significant growth under my wings... From July 2013 to February 2014 (8 months) London, United KingdomOil and Gas Global Divisional Manager @ I was head-hunted to start Sola's Oil and Gas division in January 2012 and in September 2012, I officially start Sola Oil and Gas. The company had just an IT present with a few clients and my remit was to establish Sola as an Oil and Gas company. From September 2012 to July 2013 (11 months) Recruitment and Business Development Manager @ I was brought into an IT Recruitment company to start their Oil and Gas piece. My job was to BD and establish relationships with some of the largest Oil and Gas companies globally. In less than 18 months, I became an approved supplier into some of the largest EPC's, Service Companies and Operators and assisted with personnel in over 30 countries whilst placing over 250 positions.
