As well as architectural governance, I also coordinated global community around the PAM system enabling reuse by Australia / New Zealand business unit and collaborative development with both South Africa and US. From November 2010 to June 2011 (8 months) IS Architect @ Sole technical architect within the UK Content Solutions team responsible for strategic architectural direction of all of our content and knowledge management applications. LexisNexis is the legal/Tax/News publishing wing of the Reed Elsevier Group. As well as strategic alignment also responsible for design and implementation of some solutions including delivering an EU Tracker solution (which won 3 LN innovation awards UK, US and ECLA) and the Practice Area Management (PAM) system which is the content system which produces UK flagship products LexisPSL and TolleyGuidance. From August 2004 to November 2010 (6 years 4 months) Application Design Manager @ Heading up a team of 4 technical architects responsible for strategic direction of the architecture behind all of the software applications including customer specific implementations. Again in the arena of content and knowledge management. From August 2002 to August 2004 (2 years 1 month) Senior Software Engineer @ Responsible for design and implementation of the companies major content management system (ActiveText) being the technical lead running a team of 2 developers. AIS was then acquired by TSO (with one of the major drivers being the product ActiveText).
