HOW I DO IT: I source elite talent for employers, and present unique career opportunities to a constant source of viable candidates. I am a Headhunter, plain and simple. I use the most modern technology for search and presentation including Video Summaries. These videos are proving to save a significant time for the employer in the process. In the rare event of the hire not being suitable, I work the replacement process as hard as the original placement. This ensures that we learned from our lessons and end up with the best possible fit.
WHY IT MATTERS: By getting the right talent at the right time to meet your needs, your business will continue to grow and thrive. Finding the best person for your company saves you time, money and headaches. I serve as your strategic partner.
WHAT OTHERS SAY: "Patrick is a consummate professional who exceeds expectations in service and commitment. With a true desire to deliver the best talent for his clients he creates a win-win opportunity for all stakeholders and participants.” Steve Zubovits, President at Quality Health Services Ltd.
WHO I WORK WITH: I work in the Franchising, and Senior Management arenas, Manufacturing and Chemical Industry, Food Ingredient, Plastics and Resins, including several President level placements.
MY BACKGROUND: Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC), over 20 years of National and International recruiting experience, built an NGO in Africa from 22 skilled medical personnel to 70.

Director - Strategic Talent Acquisition @ WHAT I DO: I work on behalf of clients who need a job filled, by searching for talented people in places they could not go themselves. Some of the openings are filled quickly, while others may take months to find the right person. As a matchmaker, I ensure the job vacancy and the company are a good fit for the candidate and the candidate is a good match for the hiring company. Like a good hunter, I confirm what the target is, ways to connect with identified prospects, and “capture” their attention about the opportunity. I deliver results.
HOW I DO IT: I keep pace with the current trends and technologies and use many recruiting tools for communicating, screening, and maintaining relationships with clients and candidates. I build trust with both my clients AND my candidates.I often partner with other recruiters to guarantee we get the best candidates for my clients’ teams. Membership in NPA provides contacts, resources and access to over 400 top recruiting firms across North America and around the world. I help solve your recruitment challenges in any market.
WHY IT MATTERS: I become the trusted “middleman” in sensitive and confidential negotiations. As we reach an acceptable outcome, I build relationships based on respect, expertise, and a relentless commitment to exceeding, not just meeting, expectations. I listen to my clients and candidates to complete a successful long-term partnership. I impact both the lives of candidates and the lives of their families. I take this seriously.
WHO I WORK WITH: I work with both Senior Management as well as Operational and Human Resources Management.
WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT: I use the finest search tools available, incorporating Candidate Video Introductions which provides another dimension of presentation. Client feedback is enthusiastic, and the main benefit is the time and money saved.
SPECIALTIES: I specialize in Senior Sales, Sales Management, General and Operational Management, and Franchising roles at all levels. From January 2014 to Present (2 years) Toronto, Canada AreaDirector of Build Site Experience @ WHAT I DID: I worked alongside approximately 10,000 volunteers per year on multiple build sites who came from all walks of life. We built simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with hard-working, low-income families. I identified, recruited and trained Crew Leaders to coach the volunteers to produce acceptable results in a safe manner. These Crew Leaders guided four to five unskilled or semi-skilled volunteers. Crew Leaders demonstrated tasks, maintained standards, monitored safety, and assured that the volunteers had enough meaningful work to have a satisfying experience. .
HOW I DID IT: I contributed to a positive and rewarding work environment on the work site, ensured all safety supplies, boots, tools, food and water were on site for each group. I worked with direct reports who were the site administrators in charge of registration, the “Safety Speech”, and trained for first aid and prepared for any emergency.
WHY IT MATTERED: Volunteerism is the heartbeat of Habitat. It provided a fun, hands-on opportunity for individuals and groups to support Habitat’s mission while building skills, relationships, and an enriched community. The mission was all about families helping themselves and bringing people together for a good cause. In building one house at a time we were changing lives forever.
WHO I WORKED WITH: I assisted the Site Foreperson and Habitat Toronto on all build sites and projects. I often collaborated on the Adopt-a-Day Program. Companies of all sizes engage their employees and encourage stronger relationships, while learning new skills. Many individuals who worked on a project were Corporate groups paying for their day’s experience, and this represented the majority of the fundraising income.
WHAT MADE ME DIFFERENT: This was more than building homes, communities, and hope. I also built leaders.
SPECIALITIES: Projects included: rough framing, painting, insulation, drywall, electrical, and landscaping. From October 2011 to January 2014 (2 years 4 months) Toronto, Canada AreaVice President, and Field Managing Director @ WHAT I DID: Simply put, I brought business thinking and structure to a small organization that was on the verge of explosive growth. I began as Country Manager for the registered NGO named Lifeline Malawi in 2006, and was eventually promoted to Vice President. Frankly, I hardly knew anything about Africa or Malawi, but I had realized this was a calling and worthwhile mission. We started with one location and 22 people, and grew it to two full campuses, 70 employees providing free medical care and attention to over 200,000 rural Malawians every year.
HOW I DID IT: We needed to build on and expand the infrastructure that was in place. I brought order to the finances, hired local support people to navigate the government issues, and located consulting engineers to oversee and guarantee quality construction. I formed internal teams, provided systems and training, and initiated the first ever corporate strategic plan
WHY IT MATTERED: The most important contribution was that we gave people HOPE. Families who had no money could get good medical care. Women could deliver their babies in a safe environment. People infected with HIV/AIDS could get care and medicines with Dignity and Respect. We saved and prolonged lives, we implemented preventative health measures, we contributed to preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS, we partnered with local leaders, and we provided a free ambulance service and supported the local economy.
WHO I WORKED WITH: We were members of the NGO community at high level, we worked with the Ministry of Health, donors from many countries in North America and Europe, Canadian charities and churches that supported us and a great group of volunteer Board members in Canada who worked tirelessly to help guide and raise funds for the project . From September 2006 to June 2011 (4 years 10 months) Senior Recruiter @ This is a well established recruiting firm for whom I specialized in Sales, Senior Management and technical positions. We were members of NPA which gave us access to partners all over the world.
WHAT I DID: I developed my own portfolio in Sales and Senior management positions and was consistently in the top three income producers out of 14 recruiters and typically 15-20% of my income came from international placements.
WHO I WORKED WITH:I developed long term relationships with firms such as Dow Chemical, LG Electronics, Crain-Drummond, Minchem, Richardson Electronics, and Daminco Canada.
HOW I DID IT: I researched, identified and presented to senior management a plan to install leading edge technology regarding process control for the entire recruiting system. The cost was in the range of $35,000 to install and I was responsible for all training. Efficiency went up by 20% and time saved per recruiter was in excess of two work hours per day.I led the team tasked with the total redesign of the corporate website. From January 1998 to January 2006 (8 years 1 month) Senior Recruiter @ This is a Montreal based company operating in Toronto across a wide range of disciplines. From January 1991 to January 1998 (7 years 1 month)
