Data Spreadsheets into the CCK (Capital Calculation Kernel) – To ensure that all speadsheets are documented, any invalid links are identified and SOX compliant. This exercise showed weaknesses and exposed risks to the business in the way spreadsheets are currently stored and managed.
Data Quality, Data Quality Criteria Log. This is a matrix log of all the data within the organisation highlighting controls for the type of data. This should ideally reference other documents like the error log and the data dictionary to ensure that naming conventions are the same throughout and should errors arise for any reason then a remedy is easily manageable.
