We organized 2 trips in London with French entrepreneurs and meet with UK's ecosystem : investors, incubators and local entrepreneurs. From February 2011 to July 2012 (1 year 6 months) Co-Founder @ WE MAKE LOCAL COMMERCE MORE EFFICIENT. WE INCREASE FARMERS' INCOME. WE LOWER THE PRICE OF LOCAL & ORGANIC PRODUCTS • An e-commerce platform where users group themselves to buy directly from their local farmers. • A network of pickup locations where users collect their orders. • A truly collaborative network where users and farmers interact online and offline. IT WORKS WITH : Vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry, fish, dairies, bread, wine, juices… all of it sourced within 125 miles (200 km). WIRED UK : ONE OF EUROPE'S 100 HOTTEST STARTUPS IN 2012 In July 2015 : Already 600 communities and more than 1 000 000 unique paying orders in more tan 5 countries. 80+ employees and 3 rounds of investors. We created this project with Marc-David and Guilhem in late 2010 where I was more in charge of the technology setting of the project and the communication plan. I quit the company in early 2012 to join the François Hollande Presidential campaign. I am now a founding member and shareholder of the company. From November 2010 to July 2012 (1 year 9 months) CEO @ Mounir & Simon was a communication and innovation boutique agency. We were working like a startup to deliver great projects for our clients and our internal R&D. I managed a team of 3 and worked on very inspiring projects : - Google Startup café : During 3 years, we've designed and managed a program dedicated to create more bonds between Google and the French innovation eco-system. We built the curriculum of a public e-learning video platform for wannabee startuppers (startup-cafe.fr). We negociated and animated partnerships with top french Schools, Universities and french startups for the creation of the contents. We organized multiple PR events to expose the work done and sensibilize journalists and officials on Google actions for entrepreneurs. 2 M&S people were dedicated full-time on this project. - ESL Network : For 3 years, we’ve worked on multiple projects with this european lobbying and strategic consulting firm to integrate more digital thinking in their strategies. - My-Art.com : We have helped this startup on both technology and communication.We’ve built for them the technical infrastructure of the website and designed the early communication strategy. - Paris Open Data : Mounir&Simon was the first company that partnered with the Paris city to use and hack the data that were just opened. We created multiples dynamic maps of electoral data. - S-O-H-A : Mounir&Simon was a dynamic actor of the startup eco-system as we regularly organised the Sentier Open House Aperos where dozens of startuppers were invited to discover the office of a company and an open mic permitted them to pitch their projects. From November 2009 to July 2012 (2 years 9 months) International Product Manager Assistant @ International Marketing Development for the brand L'Oréal Paris Haircare Products Innovation for New Markets Developped the future specific products ranges of L'Oreal Paris Haircare for the growing new markets : Asia and South America. Market studies data analysis and creative work with agencies to develop breaktrough concepts for prospective products in new markets. L'Oréal is the place where I really understood what was FMCG marketing in a fast moving world. From January 2009 to September 2009 (9 months) CEO @ FairSense was my first failed startup. It was an e-commerce of decorative wall stickers designed by great artists and manufactured on demand in Paris. From setting the factory in Paris to developing the e-commerce platform, negociating with distributors and building the communication plan, it was a great human and business experience. From March 2006 to June 2007 (1 year 4 months) Internet Technician / Member of the Supervisory Board @ It was the great time of the 2000's, I was 16 and I was a real geek : At that time, I spent my night coding, chatting on IRC and playing online games. I started to work at Club-Internet on Saturdays and Sundays as a Network technician while going to school on week days. I was the youngest employee and I learnt a lot each day. It was a time of permanent network innovations (ADSL, VoIP, Optic Fiber, VoD) .
