As Managing Director for Exova Europe I led a team of 1200 scientists and engineers testing products and materials for the aerospace, oil and gas, industrials, food, pharmaceutical and environmental sectors, across 35 labs in 7 countries. In 2014 I was part of the Executive leadership team that took the business through an IPO from private equity ownership to a listing on the London Stock Exchange. As SVP Sales and Customer Operations I have responsibility for US sales to Manufacturers and Retailers of over $1.1bn plus management of CHEP's customer service organisation including our customer care centre and a number of front and back office functions. As General Manager for CHEP UK and Ireland, I had P&L responsibility for CHEP EMEA’s largest single country business with around 1100 employees. CHEP UK and Ireland serve 2500 manufacturers and over 30,000 retail locations, supporting industries such as fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). A Vice President responsible for European Key Accounts, I was managing the relationship with CHEP EMEA’s 40 largest customers. I was also European Key Account Director until 2005. Prior to joining CHEP in 2002 I worked for the BOC group as the Sales Manager for their BOC Edwards division, serving the semiconductor industry in northern Europe. I also managed an engineering group responsible for developing cryogenic freezing and chilling technologies for the food industry.
