From June 2008 to November 2008 (6 months) JSR 289 Specification Lead @ Java Community Process - Lead the JSR 289 Expert Group (17 member companies) to create the SipServlet v1.1 specification. Defined, analyzed and prototyped functional requirements to design the specification and the API. (The SIP Servlet programming model provides a container based approach for developing communication applications utilizing the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) protocol. The JSR 289 Specification can be downloaded from: http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=289)- Delivered the final release of JSR 289 in Aug 2008 along with a Reference Implementation and TCK.- Delivered OCCAS 4.0 as the first product to be compliant with JSR 289 in Sept 2008. From October 2007 to February 2011 (3 years 5 months) Sr. Software Engineer @ BEA Systems, WebLogic Communications Platform - Maintenance team-lead for the Enterprise Java Bean container. Maintain EJB container and J2EE sub-systems, design and implement customer enhancement requests, fix bugs reported by customers and handle customer escalations from support and field teams.
