Collectively, they have raised $350M+ in equity and debt. As a small team, my role stretched across design, product, marketing, user research, and UX. -Care/of: worked with CEO Craig Elbert and co-founder Akash Shah to help refine the concept, set the foundation for digital UX, design of the physical form factor, develop brand strategy, and define end to end user experience. Great Jones: worked with CEO Jay Goldklang to develop the launch product, develop a product roadmap, hire their first designer, embed a culture of human centered design, and train their team on how to lead user research independently. Perch: worked with CEO Court Cunningham and co-founder Phil DeGisi to help define product, develop a resonant brand with Partners & Spade, hire a three person design team including former heads of digital design from Maple/Capsule and Bark, and shift the core business model to pursue opportunities uncovered during user research. Tend: worked with CEO Doug Hudson to help define an end to end experience that covered both digital and physical components, develop a brand and the design of a physical retail space with Partners & Spade, and hire the former head of design of Blue Apron.
