Most recently I co-founded a technology startup called Joberate, which tracks people's publicly available digital footprint, including Social Media. The technology generates a J-Score, which represents people's job seeking behavior. This helps companies gain unique insights into their employee engagement so that they can retain top talent and hi potentials. Recruiters leverage our software to gain a competitive advantage in candidate sourcing. We also provide unique market data that is based on actual activity of the employable workforce instead of surveying people's opinions. The technology is highly disruptive with potential to change society as it has quickly evolved into an "idea virus."
The HR and Recruitment industry has been gracious in recognizing my contributions over the past fifteen years. Co-founder, CEO @ Joberate’s mission is to help society better understand job seeking behaviors of the global workforce. The company's technology tracks people’s publicly available digital footprint, which includes their public Social Media data, to measure and quantify each individual’s job seeking behaviors into a propriety J-Score, which is akin to a FICO score for lenders. Joberate’s technology is available as a standalone, web-based SaaS application, as well as an API that can be integrated into leading Talent Management, ATS, CRM, and HRMS applications.
Joberate won the 2014 iTalent technology competition, hosted by HRO Today Forum, from a prominent field of finalists including Glassdoor, Jibe, Smashfly, and 1-Page. In 2013 the company was named a finalist at the UK National Online Recruitment Awards competition in the category of Best Innovations in Online Recruitment along with prominent companies like LinkedIn, and Joberate was recently shortlisted by SAP for the "Big Data Startup of the Year" award. From January 2014 to Present (2 years) RPO President, Global Practice Leader @ I was the first employee hired by the Adecco Group in North America in 2006 to help the company define the vision for RPO and MSP. I stayed on for nearly eight years and became the President of the RPO business segment.
Under my leadership we earned the #1 industry ranking by Outsourcing Institute, and we grew that business globally to more than 100 clients, while never sacrificing high quality customer service or the interests of our shareholders. I built an amazing leadership team and company culture, which lead to a highly collaborative working environment and significant growth.
In addition to having full P&L responsibilities for the RPO business segment, I focused on fostering Innovation Leadership and development of Unique Technology and Talent Acquisition solutions. This included excellence in Operations and Service Delivery, Social Media, Labor Supply and Demand Planning, Big Data Analytics and Informatics, and Workforce Management.
During my tenure I had the privilege of developing and presenting more than 400 innovative Talent Acquisition service delivery models and solutions, and being at the head of an organization that implemented and ran more than 100 recruiting and talent acquisition departments for companies around the world. From February 2006 to October 2013 (7 years 9 months) Executive Director @ Directed all association operating activities. Promoted the advancement of best practices in the HR Outsourcing industry (HR BPO). Served as the key interface between the Board of Trustees, association membership, media and industry analysts, and other organizations that seek market data and information about HR outsourcing. Co-developed content and programming for one of the largest HR industry trade shows (HRO World). From April 2004 to November 2005 (1 year 8 months) Advisor, Chairman of the Board @ Advised management team on growth and expansion alternatives, and during the company's acquisition of Atlantic Synergy, Inc. (ASGY.OB). Post acquisition, served as the Chairman of Acies (ACIE.OB) through the integration of the two entities and market expansion. From December 2003 to October 2004 (11 months) Chairman, President and CEO @ Co-founded this HR services firm in 2001, which was a pioneer in contingent workforce management and focused exclusively on providing contingent workforce outsourcing (CWO) services to Fortune 2000 companies. Guided the company from its creation, raising equity investment capital, through profitability, prior to joining the HROA full time as the Executive Director. From January 2001 to January 2004 (3 years 1 month) Chief Operating Officer @ Careerbay developed recruitment automation tools, and was the interactive and technology development affiliate of JWG Associates, Inc., at that time the fifth largest recruitment-advertising agency in North America. Early in 2001 JWG Associates and Careerbay.com were sold to TMP Worldwide, the parent company of Monster.com. From May 2000 to January 2001 (9 months) Vice President, Sales @ Lead consolidation of acquisitions of several IT staffing companies into one integrated business unit. Aligned operations, service delivery, and sales, to the corporate growth strategy. Achieved on-target staffing and services revenue objectives. Served as Vice President, Sales for a subsidiary MyBizOffice (now MBO Partners). Instrumental in developing an early-adopter client base that fueled the company's ongoing growth.
