I am an accomplished IT Director, having executed many complex SAP projects. I have over 14 years of experience in Database and BASIS administration. I lead the Application Platform delivery practice at McKesson IT with responsibilities for over 45 SAP technologies including HANA, Sybase IQ. My role has expanded beyond SAP platforms like Cloudera's distribution for Hadoop, IBM's Information Server and Tableau. For the past 3 years, I have successfully led and delivered one of the world’s largest BW on HANA implementations, modernized over 300 of our SAP assets through a complex migration to a virtualized, private cloud platform and co-innovated with SAP Labs on a pilot migration of ECC to HANA. Prior to being a Director, as a senior BASIS administrator, I specialized in the design, planning, support, deployment, migration, upgrades and refreshes of many SAP implementations. I have led small and large teams that are spread across the world delivering simple to complex projects with agility yet maintaining quality. I now have platform delivery ownership of Cloudera's distribution of Hadoop along with IBM's Information Sever for ETL, Master Data Management as well as our Visualization technology stack with Tableau From August 2015 to Present (5 months) San Francisco Bay AreaDirector - BASIS Enhancements @ - Led the delivery of the Aurora program that required modernizing of over 300 SAP assets to One Cloud, our internal private cloud offering. The SAP assets needed a makeover that was long overdue to sustain the growth we have seen over the years. This also required agility in provisioning our environments through automation - Several HANA opportunities that were conceptualized through POC’s were executed as projects. The SAP Business Warehouse was upgraded to HANA as part of the Aurora program. ROME a very high profile Generics initiative today runs on a HANA side car implementation, financial closing runs on HANA using COPA and we will soon go live with BPC on HANA for US Pharma and Canada. McKesson was shipped the first Ivy Bridge, HANA appliance from Lenovo China. We worked with partners like IBM, SAP, Suse Linux, DSS and consulting firms all working towards the same challenge of making this “first” appliance production grade. Overall HANA has now been proven to be a de-facto standard for analytics that have high performance needs. Built a team of 15 BASIS administrators from scratch due to out sourcing decisions.
