I was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I started my engineering career as an electrical engineer at PCT ENGINEERED SYSTEMS, LLC from January 2009 to May 2015. After six years and five months as an electrical engineer, I moved to the CONTROLS Engineer position at Evergreen Packaging from May 2015 to February 2017. I have been with Evergreen Packaging for one year and ten months.My work experiences with controls have included working on electrical engineering projects. I have primarily worked on controls for packaging systems, such as valves, centrifugal handling systems, and infusion pumps. In my time at PCT ENGINEERED SYSTEMS, LLC, I have developed software that helps to streamline and optimize manufacturing processes. This software is used by global companies such as Coca-Cola and Ford.My experience with controls has also included working with global partners. I have worked with Coca-Cola and Ford and have been able to help themto streamline their manufacturing processes. With Evergreen Packaging, I have also been able to work with local partners in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area. These local partners are participating in the production of beers, painters, and other products.Matthew Ulrich has a B.S. from the University of Iowa and a M.S. from the University of Michigan specifically in electrical engineering. Ulrich has worked in a number of industries, including engineering, product design, and manufacturing.
