Software Engineer @ I work in the Linux Technology Center (LTC), tweaking Linux for internal customer use. My work included supporting new hardware and modifying kernel configurations, anticipating customer needs, problems and solutions. From June 2011 to Present (4 years 5 months) Writer @ I write short stories for anthologies and magazines as well as various nonfiction pieces. From June 2010 to Present (5 years 5 months) Software Engineer @ Planned, using customer requirements, full line items for release, including documentation, design, code and unit tests. Additionally, I was in charge of several ancillary projects, including updating and formatting reference documentation for customer consumption. I also developed broad knowledge of z/OS by serving as a peer reviewer for documentation, design and code, attending classes, and working on the forefront of our department's waterfall to Lean/Agile process conversion.
