As a highly qualified Chief Technologist at Australian Power & Gas, I have successfully managed the development and implementation of advanced payment options for the organisations’ customers. I manage the IT component of the organisation’s key strategic initiatives and develop the IT architect framework/governance model. Prior to this, I worked at Railcorp as an Outsourcing Transition/Co-ordinator, where I successfully managed the 4 stage transition of RailCorp’s Service Desk, Desktop Support, Server Operations and Data Centre Management to the selected outsourcer. I am highly self-motivated and achieved consistent progression within both companies. I pride myself on my ability to establish excellent working relationships with colleagues at all levels. My strengths lie in strategic planning, leading multi-skilled teams and managing all aspects of IT&T activities. I excel at assessing policies/procedures and developing effective improvements with regard to Change Management, Security, Disaster Recovery and IT&T operations. I have a strong commitment to continual professional development and am currently studying towards an MBA in Computing. I am ITIL certified, a Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society and a member of the Project Management Institute. At Australian Power & Gas I was IT Manager for Australia’s fastest growing company in 2010 and fastest start up 2010/2011. In this role I implemented IT governance which effectively increased services/staff at a reduced cost. While working at Railcorp, I acted as the General Manager of ICT Operations for periods of up to 3 months, including managing a staff of 100 in an environment comprising 6500 workstations and 300 servers.
