Sales Manager Northern Region Production Print @ This new role is responsible for the ongoing sales management of the production print sales specialists in Sydney, Brisbane and the ACT. It encompasses primarily sales management functions and coaching, training and mentoring with an overall objective to increase market share and expand Ricoh PP coverage. From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Manager Production Market Strategy @ Provide national 'go to market' strategy and sales support on all Ricoh production products including the continuous feed and wide format products. The role encompasses the development of sales tools, market strategies and lead generation activities to increase Ricoh's market share and brand awareness. This role is also responsible for the strategic business development of key head office accounts. From July 2014 to July 2015 (1 year 1 month) National BDM Production Print @ Ricoh entered the production print space in 2006. I was employed based on my previous experience to provide market intelligence, direction and expertise whilst expanding Ricoh's overall presence and profile within this space. This included representing Ricoh at all production related events, associations and customer groups. The role supported both channels (wholesale and direct) and involved a significant amount of peer education and tool building to increase the sales teams awareness and capabilities. As Ricoh has continued to grow its market share and success the role has been split into channels and regions to expand market coverage. From July 2006 to June 2014 (8 years) General Manager - University Publishing Service @ General management of the University Publishing Service producing the universities core documents including course materials and student services. The role was responsible for the production, dispatch, graphic design and customer service areas and reported into the senior university administration. The business unit operated as a commercial business within the university enviroment and involved an understanding of OH&S, EEO and equal opportunity practices. The business trurnover exceeded $3.8M and at capacity operated with over 20 staff. This role managed overall sales, marketing and development of the various departments within the business and provided the strategic direction for the University to enter new markets and services to students and staff. From February 1994 to July 2006 (12 years 6 months) Manager @ Started at Snap on a trainee management program in Western Australia at their Head Office site. I was promoted to my first management role at the age of 20 at the Help St store in Chatswood. I built this business up though quaility service and excellent customer service to enable the centre to be viable enough to be sold as a franchise. My subsequent role was working within stores earmarked for sale to help build the business in regards to revenue and goodwill and then once sold, to work with the new owners through this transition.
