I have a successful twenty-year plus career in IT and digital. I am a technology and process specialist and behavioural enthusiast.
Throughout my career I have specialised in leading on process, team building and solutions through technology. I have been a support manager, network manager, project manager, programme manager, board level IT leader, consultant and development team leader.
Currently head up a team that delivers digital consultancy and development services to our clients. I oversee a commerce platform that has supported an online retailer in moving from £1M to £35M revenue in six years.
My key areas of skill are in digital IT strategy, product development, commerce, convergence, P&L ownership and technology for growth. From a team leading perspective I in depth experience of building and developing teams, process improvement and cost control.
I have a strong interest in technology and working side-by-side with developers to scope and build complex web applications. I have worked both agency and client-side so have a strong understanding of matching business requirements to technology solutions.

I am responsible for delivery of all digital projects both internal and external and have full P&L responsibility. During the four years in my current role I have restructured the digital team and brought it back into profitability. The team balance and offering has been aligned with changes in demand from the modern digital market and positioned to deliver at key price points. As well as servicing existing large clients the team provide low cost, short timescale product development as the company enhances its online offerings. In addition I have successfully integrated digital development into other areas of the business to provide the benefits of digital product development across the business.
My focus now is to continue to refine this team, market its services to a wider audience and lead the business strategy for the continued development of our digital services. I look to lead on digital technology and am responsible for setting standards, technical strategy. I have specific interest in mobile as the centre of a digital strategy and am particularly interested in mobile commerce as a developing sector.
To achieve this I have used my previous experience working as a department head, team leader, project / programme manager and development team manager.
