User Experience Designer @ From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Co-Founder @ Design Clinic at U of M aims to provide design services for entrepreneurial activities around the university and the city of Ann Arbor. This is an engagement platform that is built to co-create value for students looking for an avenue to hone their design skills and for local entrepreneurs to start using design thinking processes in their development cycles.
- Raised $50,000 in funding from University's Provost office.
- Built a sustainable model which can be implemented in any university focused on teaching entrepreneurship.
- Hired, mentored and managed a team of 13 highly talented design students.

User Experience Research Co-Op / Detroit, MI / Jan 2015 - Present
- Streamlining GE company-wide cataloging process for all Brilliant Factory projects, a new breed of a manufacturing where a single digital thread links design, engineering, production, supply chain and distribution.
- Conducting interviews with various users of the current cataloging process, analyzing data from interviews to find reoccurring patterns, and creating personas and scenarios to better understand users’ needs.
General Electric / Capital Real Estate
Interaction Design Co-Op / Detroit, MI / Sept 2014 - Dec 2014
- Designed a website that stores and manages all policies and regulations related to Capital Real Estate.
- Created a prototype of the website that replicates how the user will create, search and manage policies related to Capital Real Estate.
- Validated prototype with users of the original system, annotated prototype with user stories to help the development team in building the site and created work flow diagrams for each page of the site to outline exactly how the user will navigate from start to finish.
General Electric / Corporate Human Resources
User Experience Design Co-Op / Detroit, MI / May 2014 - August 2014
- Designed a responsive employee appraisal management system, serving over 200,000 employees globally.
- Created wireframes, in parallel with agile developers, for each page and for all responsive views.
- Facilitated meetings with remote developers and project manager to ensure that new design and user-experience standards were being implemented as designed. From May 2014 to May 2015 (1 year 1 month) Project Manager @ - Worked with small businesses to define project approach by creating website mock-ups, mobile application wireframes. scopes-of-work outline and functional requirements documents. From May 2013 to May 2014 (1 year 1 month) Saint Louis, MOProgram Manager @ - Established the Iranian-American community’s presence on Capitol Hill by launching and organizing the annual NIAC Leadership Conference. With the guidance of the Director of Community Outreach, the two of us created a three-day intensive agenda engaging with U.S. Department of State officials, Congressional members and opinion leaders. The last conference I helped organized, in September 2012, resulted in the Obama Administration’s extension of humanitarian sanctions waiver on Iranians.
- Produced short videos to communicate highly complex issues pertaining to U.S.-Iran relations. These videos have brought in more than $150,000 in donations to the organization, prompted members to send close to 10,000 letters to the President and Representatives of Congress and doubled overall traffic to the organization’s website.
- Produced content, sourced guest line-up, recorded and edited NIAC’s Podcast series, “Let’s Talk Iran,” gaining a worldwide audience of 12,000+ listeners.
