Resourcer @ My current remit is to support Propel's consultants on the Digital Services team in delivering exceptional talent for advertising and marketing technology businesses across London and the wider UK. From November 2015 to Present (2 months) Business Manager @ Field based role with responsibility for ledger of over 250 accounts all within the W1 postcode. Maintain and upsell into existing customers, whilst also hunting and winning new accounts through a mixture of cold and warm calling, both face to face and over the phone. Grow and sustain strong, lasting relationships with customers, being first point of contact for product queries, pricing negotiations and resolving any problems customers may be finding with their service. Recognise and troubleshoot downtrading accounts and react as quickly and appropriately as possible to regain and retain their business. Highlighting uptrading accounts and analysing other areas through which to farm even more business from them. Liaising with suppliers to gain support in penetrating new product lines into accounts. From August 2015 to November 2015 (4 months) Vice President Union Affairs @ - Responsible for all Union communications output.
- Oversee and work closely with Marketing department staff to devise and deliver effective and sustained communications strategy to Union members and internal communications to Union staff.
- Running and overseeing Union Facebook (19k+ likes) and Twitter (10k+ followers) accounts and Union website, devising and implementing strategy to increase engagement in posts.
- Analysing social media post and Union e-mail engagements and click-through rates to gauge effectiveness of communications strategies.
- Work with Marketing department to ensure that the Union’s brand voice is upheld in all outputs.
- Work closely with heads of sections to develop and deliver targeted communications strategy to increase student engagement with Union activities, such as sport, media and volunteering.
