During this time I created several prototypes to find the best way to integrate Spark applications as dockerized microservices on the Cloud. Also created a Recommendation System as a Proof of Concept(Spark, Docker, Mesos, Marathon) ORACLE COMMUNICATIONS BIG DATA PLATFORM(OCAP)• Was the lead developer in creating the Reference Data Loader for OCAP an ETL plugin that dynamically loads reference data into Oracle Communication Data Model (Java, Oracle 12c) • KPI Visualization Application: Created an interactive webpage to view, explore KPIs created by OCAP. Tuned HBase to retrieve KPIs in real time (OJET, HBase, Impala)• Created the ETP API that automated Machine Learning based KPI generation for OCAP(Spark, Oozie, Java)• Analyzed DPI dataset generated by a renown Telecom Provider and created an application showcasing analytics usecases that could be mined from the given dataset (OCAP) Redwood Shores, CASoftware Engineer @ Drawbridge Inc. Senior Software Engineer, Graph Core Team (Spark, Oozie, Apache Hadoop)● Feature-generation for User-Level and Household-Level feature sets ● Created a Quantile Discretizer to cluster ids based on their importance● Improved the runtime and accuracy of Core Graph components San Mateo
