📖 Summary
Experienced technology entrepreneur from Silicon Valley with deep domain knowledge about financial services organizations. I started my career in Silicon Valley at a number of pure-technology startups (Broadbase, BEA/WebLogic, Radik, M7) before relocating to London and working in financial services. During that time I became extremely familiar with front office analytics and risk systems for derivatives trading. I've combined the two backgrounds at OpenGamma, where we're building an Open Source platform for financial analytics and risk management. I believe in the power of developer-driven communities to build phenomenal standardized systems, whether in horizontal technologies (databases, web servers, application servers) or vertical industries with strong developer presence (such as financial services). I believe in the power of disruptive business models to reshape industries to the benefit of vendors and customers combined.Founder and Chief Innovation Officer @ OpenGamma is the author of the OpenGamma Platform, the world's first production-grade Open Source system for front-office trading and risk analytics for the Capital Markets industry.
