My name is Kevin LeClair and I'm a Toronto based Front-End Web Developer. I'm passionate about building beautiful websites free of unnecessary markup. During my time at HackerYou I've learnt all the skills to develop interactive, sleek experiences for users. From January 2015 to April 2015 (4 months) Travel @ In September of 2013, I moved to Whistler to gain some life experience and reflect on the career I would pursue. I skiied - a lot. I also worked at a grocery store to make ends meet. It gave me the chance to meet people from all over the world, which is probably what I liked best about this time in my life. While out west, I re-connected with a friend from university who had just graduated from a coding bootcamp. He showed me what he was working on, and I was hooked. I started exploring web development for myself and eventually moved home to Toronto to attend HackerYou, a coding bootcamp in Toronto. From September 2013 to September 2014 (1 year 1 month) Musician/Producer @ Following my time at university, I pursued a career as a musician. I played guitar for local bands in the Ottawa Area and produced electronic music as a solo artist. I learned about business, too - sales, partnerships and contracts are some of the things I became familiar with. I'm happy I took the time to pursue my passion for music, even though it didn't work out as a career, because I learned a lot. During this time period, I also held a number of part-time jobs in order to support my passion.
