I have been working in the financial / software industry for 8+ years. Beginning with Allied Irish Bank as a Relationship Banker I established myself in the ‘Future Leader Program’ designed to enable the highest achiever to distinguish themselves within the industry. In the relationship I achieved all revenue and customer retention goals whilst also increasing client profitability through continued relationship building with existing customers, cross selling and referral development. After leaving AIB, I travelled throughout North America and gained some invaluable experience working in a number of different part time roles across major cities that would further develop me personally. In 2009 I returned to Ireland and took up my role with First Derivatives. FD completed the acquisition of MRP with the long term goal of establishing an office in Northern Ireland. MRP which is a global provider of strategic marketing and demand generation services for the technology industry is headquartered in Philadelphia. I was part of the first intake in Northern Ireland hired by MRP to go to Philadelphia to work with their counterparts and learn what it would take to successfully implement the company back in Europe. The Belfast office was launched in 2010 with less than 5 employees and has now grown to over 100 in the last three years. This presence has help expand MRP’s reach to include Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia. I have been working predominantly in business development for FD more recently. Beginning with North America and Europe; I then moved to Asia to establish the first FD office in region. I am actively involved in account management and business development across Asia Pac. This is across all verticals of the business; software and consultancy and in all industries; capital markets, energy, pharma, telco and other big data centric industries.
