I currently lead the Talent Acquisition Function for the company. My team consists of 178 professionals dedicated to provide award winning Talent Acquisition practices to the company. I provide strategic direction for the function, design enterprise level processes, create efficiencies in the system and assist the business in creating innovative strategies and approaches that result in them hiring the best talent for their positions. I also lead the company's Veteran Hiring Initiative that delivered on our initial commitment to hire 1000 veterans and military spouses and we have added a commitment to hire a second 1,000 by the end of 2014. I lead a team that designed the processes that allowed the company to deliver the original goal 14 months ahead of schedule. I have designed and implemented several enterprise Talent Acquisition projects, including ATS implementation, the introduction and adoption of electronic interviewing, and the creation of a unique "Tiered Hiring" approach to improve the accuracy of budgeting, resourcing, and cost control within the Talent Acquisition team. I have launched several organizational optimization actions, including the shift to functional recruiting, the re-design of the College, Diversity and Executive Recruiting offerings, and the creation of an internal mobility/redeployment team. We are also increasing the efficiency of our recruiting team by introducing a dynamic and automated initial screening process.
