I also have extensive leadership experience and have had proven success in both management and technical oversight roles.
Specialties: I've worked on every aspect of game development from initial design and tool development, to core systems development, sound, graphics, game physics, server and network programming as well as web technologies. I am an excellent generalist, but am most experienced in technical design, server and network engineering and artificial intelligence.
Grid Gaming Development @ Developing Grid Gaming, a cloud gaming streaming solution which brings high-end graphics games to any platform. From June 2013 to Present (2 years 7 months) Technical Director - The Sims Medieval @ Responsible for technical decisions for The Sims Medieval EP1, an alternative setting product for "The Sims" line. Duties included overseeing technical development, code and performance quality enforcement, new technology evaluation, DRM solutions, design and code review, KPI/defect reporting and more.
Lead Programmer/Producer for Alien Front Online, an internet based multiplayer arcade title and its Dreamcast port. Designed and developed core project as well as client and server multiplayer code (including optical link code and a TCP stack), vehicle physics and control and special effects. From June 1999 to December 2001 (2 years 7 months) Lead Software Engineer @ Lead Programmer for Falcon 4.0 localization products. Full sound and text translations for French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese versions, including generated sentences and briefings.
Lead Programmer for Falcon 4.0 patch projects. Organized team improving product and adding features to this massive, highly detailed combat flight simulation.
Senior Engineer, Falcon 4.0. Designed and developed Falcon’s real-time Dynamic Campaign Engine, multiplayer database, coms code, ground AI, mission generation, and scenarios. From September 1994 to June 1999 (4 years 10 months)
