Three manufacturing locations with 400+ employees including union and non-union production personnel, and a global supply chain for producing and distributing products and solutions to protect, alert and inform in the case of an emergency, or general announcement. Serving Fire, Security, Hazardous area, emergency Mass Notification & Voice Evacuation, and other Industrial Signaling applications. From 2006 to December 2008 (2 years) VP Business Systems (CIO) @ Reporting to the CFO and serving as a trusted member of the CEO’s Executive Council, implemented a centralized, yet flexible, Global Enterprise Business System to improve productivity and reporting transparency. System provides real time operational data to support worldwide cost management and core growth initiatives. Leader with ultimate accountability from concept through strategy and implementation of a fully integrated SAP system encompassing all business processes. Additionally, set-up automated tax determination, global trade compliance, warehouse management, and shared service functions for Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and Information Technology. Successfully implemented system across 9 divisions and 250+ sites in over 20 countries. From January 2003 to September 2006 (3 years 9 months) VP Strategy and Logistics @ Cooper Tools Division is a diversified manufacturer of automated assembly equipment, pneumatic and electric power tools, and hand tools with annual revenues of $750MM, 6,500+ employees at 50 manufacturing, and worldwide sales and service centers.
Reporting to the division’s President, led global development, recommendation, and the implementation of strategic manufacturing and material management initiatives and policies. Spearheaded global review and coordination of manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations. Managed division’s global new product development, procurement and supply chain initiatives, and maintain direct accountability for global information technology and direction of environmental compliance programs.
